DIY a easy cushion tutorial (easy and no zips)

Image
Let's make an Easy Cushion The first video I took without video lights, it's a bit dim. but no way I would bin it as this will be my foot prints to look back and learn from. This is a very simple cushion making video. No zips, no buttons, no strings... it was easy cushion making for me.  But taking videos and editing videos were much harder work for me. I chose upholstery fabric for thickness and made December last year (2019). It's mainly used for decoration on couch for a while, and which I hoped it continued. but, When I looked after my friend's cat, "Miso" for a while, he liked chewing on the corner of it.  and one day, I noticed something different on couch, and "what the hell, where the cushion gone" My partner took to use as cushion on his driver's sit! because he works as carpenter in build ing industries, the white cushion got so easy to get dirty. oh my, I better hurry up making another cushion with darker colored fabrics.  and just I d...

SEWing diary  Youtube channel 'mikinoos DIY' launching. yay, my first video will be published on Wednesday 19th Aug 2020. And I will try to post every Wednesday.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6wp_nqV0fW4xWfFByOQliQ Sewing has been in my mind about last ten years, and I have been doing a bit by bit, and i was being lazy as well for sewing art. So I made a big decision, which I am hoping encouraging me sewing more. I have been posting my sewing arts on instagram for a record on instagram, but not even 100 arts completed for last 10 years, and last picture I posted was 2 and half years ago, shame on me. I still love sewing and i don't want to give it up. What should I do! So I have been thinking, and thinking for what would be the best to make me sewing more, I'd love to improve my skill! I came to conclusion that I should start Sewing diary on Youtube.  Although it won't be perfect, it would definitely will motivate me sewing. It will be my crafts dia...

the Chillies over the Flowers

Image
Mikinoos' Konglish Journal A new home.... hm.... oh, it is the new home for me  but the house itself I can call an old house as it was built 50 years ago. It's been 8 months since me and my partner moved in.  Now It is the winter in July in Australia. Previous house owner planted and left the hot chilli plant. When Thai friend visited she told me it was Thai chilli, and she took some chillies and had with her dinner, and she cried! Sometimes I also had some and let it be as it was pretty plant, flowering and fruiting during Summer and Autumn, and i did not think I will harvest them until now. The plant was as tall as me (sorry, i wouldn't mention my hight) and branches were spread out, and we decided to give some pruning. "Honey, hold them well, and I can take a beautiful picture." 😅 This amount of hot chilies is enough for 6 months to1 year Rinse well --> dry water --> put in zip bag --> store in fre...

Wellinton - Cruise to New Zealand (Jan & Feb 2016)

Image
Day 8 arrived at Wellington. Hurl! I did not know Wellington is the Capital city of NZ until I got there, Wellington. Shocking! How unacknowledged I was. I thought that Auckland was the Capital city of NZ. Oh well, now I know. After off from the shuttle bus, me and my friend were heading to Wellington Cable car station. To get to the station, it would take for us 5 minutes without detour. As usual, not surprisingly it took 30 minutes for us to get there :) what took so long!! because of window shopping :) At the station there are many people who were tourist as well as residents. I did not know a lot of people in Wellington use that cable car for their commute.  I expected the cable car looks like square box, but it was more like train miniature. Ticket was very reasonable price (paid $4 on the 1st Feb 2016). Wellington view from the Wellington Cable car. Although the cable car was slow going up, it did not take long to get to the ...
