I have made an harness jacket for my cat. I let him play without any lease or harness on back garden, but if we need to play at front garden, or go to camping, some harnesses and leash set needed.  Harness jacket vest area finished with hook and loop tape which is adjustable to cat's vest size, so it will fit on him even though he put on weights. I thought to use hook and loop tape for neck of harness jacket but it might make neck strap too thick and uncomfortable for cat to move his head. So I ended up using slide plastic buckle. Because I made harness jacket with cute cat designed cotton fabric, my cat can wear as jacket as well without a leash. Cut out 1 top crown, 2 side crowns, 2 hat brims from the each two different fabric, and 2 hat brim interfacing.  When I need to distinguish the fabrics for further explanation because of the two different fabrics used, I will call simply brown fabric, and white fabric to reduce confusion. Step 2 -  Place interfacing on wrong side of brim fabric and iron press on right side of fabric  the interfacing will be attached to fabric. Interfacing on only brown brim fabrics. DIY Winter Jumper for Cat and Pattern

WINTER, Cold weather for every one, and my cat. My cat sleeps inside of doona next to me and keeping me warm at night. I made a winter jumper for keeping my cat warm when we go out to garden. I like putting clothes or harness on my cat because clothes or harness prevent for my cat from jumping too high over the fence go to next door. I made my cat's jumper using my old fleece PJ's top fabric. The bear on my PJ is too long and big to be on my cat's jumper, and I decorated below white cat face on jumper. Isn't it cute? At first I designed below. but ended up doing a bit different ears and eyes on jumper :) Hoping I will try below next time some time.   Put pattern like below and cut.  Sleeve's pattern put on end of Pj top which hemming already done, and later on I don't need to do sleeves hemming, otherwise I recommend to cut longer than the sleeve's pattern and you can do sleeves hemming.
